Lux Oasis Interiors & Renovation
Version 1.0 · Effective 1 September 2026
01Who we are
Lux Oasis Interiors & Renovation is a service line of Lux Oasis Advisory & Services LLC, a company registered in the Sharjah Free Zone (SHAMS), United Arab Emirates, licence number 2645909, TRN 104722180700003 ("we", "us", "our").
We provide renovation project management for property investors, holiday home owners and short-term rental operators in Dubai, and a pre-purchase commercial assessment service. We are project managers and coordinators. The construction work itself is carried out by contractors and specialist trades who hold their own licences.
We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For anything relating to this policy, contact us at info@luxoasisadvisory.com or on WhatsApp at +971 58 508 9283.
02Group structure
Lux Oasis Advisory & Services LLC and Lux Oasis Holiday Homes are two separate companies registered in the United Arab Emirates. Neither owns the other. Lux Oasis Holiday Homes holds a DTCM licence and operates a short-term rental portfolio in JBR, Dubai Marina and Downtown Dubai. It is our operating partner: the live operation in which our systems and methods are tested before they are offered to clients. Lux Oasis Advisory & Services LLC does not hold a DTCM licence and does not operate short-term rental accommodation.
We do not share your personal data with Lux Oasis Holiday Homes unless you ask us to introduce you to it for holiday home operation, and we will ask you first.
03What we collect
Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:
- Contact details. Your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and the company you represent.
- Property details. The building, community, unit type, size, current condition, photographs, drawings, handover documents, service charge information and title information you choose to send us.
- Project requirements. The scope you want, your budget range, your timing, and how the unit is or will be used.
- Pre-purchase assessment information. Where you ask us to assess a purchase, the asking price, the seller's or agent's information, and the figures you share with us about how you intend to fund and operate the unit.
- Project records. Scopes, budgets, programmes, variations, site reports, snagging lists, photographs and film of the property, and correspondence with contractors and suppliers about your project.
- Records of our communications with you by email or WhatsApp.
- Billing information. Invoices issued to you and payments received. We do not collect or store payment card details.
We do not knowingly collect information from minors, and our services are not directed at them.
The payback estimator on our website runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into it are never sent to us or to anyone else, and we never see them.
04Where the information comes from
Almost all of it comes from you. Some comes from parties you have asked us to deal with, such as your agent, your seller, your building management, your existing contractor, or a consultant already appointed. We say so at the time where it is not obvious.
05Why we use it, and on what basis
| What we do | Why | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Understand your property and respond to your enquiry | To answer you and decide whether we can help | Steps at your request before entering a contract |
| Prepare a scope, an indicative budget and a programme | To quote and to plan the work | Performance of our contract with you, or steps at your request |
| Brief contractors, trades, suppliers and consultants so they can quote and build | It is not possible to run a renovation without it | Performance of our contract with you |
| Apply for permits and owners' association approvals | Approvals are a condition of the works | Performance of our contract with you, and legal obligation |
| Communicate with you during the project and at handover | To run the project | Performance of our contract with you |
| Keep project records after handover | So we can answer questions about work carried out, and deal with defects | Our legitimate interest in defending and evidencing our work |
| Photograph and film the property and use the material in our marketing | To show our work | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| Meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations | Required of us | Legal obligation |
We never sell your information, and we never use it for third-party advertising.
06Who we share it with
Renovation project management involves other parties by its nature. We share the minimum necessary for each purpose.
- Contractors, specialist trades, suppliers and consultants, so they can quote for or carry out the work. Because you contract with them directly, they are separate controllers of the information they hold about you and their own privacy terms apply to it.
- Building management, owners' associations, developers and authorities, where an approval, a permit, an access permission or a deposit requires it.
- Service providers who help us run our own business, such as email, messaging, file storage and accounting tools.
- Our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where needed.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.
Everyone we engage is bound by confidentiality obligations. We do not disclose your identity, your unit number or your figures to any party who does not need them.
07Websites, fonts and video
Google Fonts. Web fonts on our website are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser makes a request to Google's servers when you open a page, which discloses your IP address and basic request information to Google.
YouTube. Our home page shows two project films hosted on YouTube. The page loads a still image for each film from a Google-operated server when you open it, which discloses your IP address to Google. The film itself is not loaded until you click play. If you click play, a YouTube player is loaded and YouTube and Google may set cookies and collect information about your viewing, under their own terms. If you do not click play, no YouTube player loads. Without JavaScript, the film is a plain link to the YouTube watch page.
WhatsApp. Our contact buttons open a WhatsApp conversation. Messages you send are processed by Meta under its own terms.
Forms. Our website has no form backend. Our contact controls open a message in your own email client or WhatsApp, addressed to us.
Our cookie position is set out in full in our Cookie Policy.
08How long we keep it
- Project records: for the duration of the project plus 3 years, so we can answer questions about work carried out.
- Enquiries that do not become projects: 2 years.
- Pre-purchase assessments that do not proceed: 2 years.
- Accounting and tax records: for the period required by UAE law.
- Photography and film used in marketing: until you withdraw consent, or until we stop using it.
Deletion: you can ask us to delete your information at any time by writing to info@luxoasisadvisory.com. Where we must keep something for a legal or accounting reason, or to defend a claim, we will tell you what and why.
09Your rights
You have the right to ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before you withdrew it. We respond to requests within 30 days.
To exercise any of these rights, contact info@luxoasisadvisory.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the UAE Data Office.
10Where your data is processed
Our own processing takes place in the United Arab Emirates. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm the hosting location of the website and of our email, messaging, file storage and accounting tools, and name them, before publication. Do not state a location that has not been verified.]
Some transfers abroad are unavoidable in this business: a supplier sourcing an item from outside the UAE, a manufacturer confirming a specification, or a Google request generated when a page loads a font or a video thumbnail. Where personal data is transferred outside the UAE, we transfer only what is needed and rely on the safeguards available under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, including your consent, necessity for the performance of a contract, and contractual protections with the recipient where applicable.
11Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the information you send us, including access control on the accounts and storage we use, and restricting project information to the people working on your project. No system can offer an absolute guarantee of security and we do not claim one.
12Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email to active clients and publish the new version at its own permanent address. Every version carries a version number and an effective date and is never overwritten in place.
